Mesotherapy
Тhe technique consists of injecting active substances into the superficial layer of the skin, it is considered ideally suited for management of localized pain.
Advantages include a reduced risk of side effects of the active substances, interactions and possible synergy with other medications, without the need for high systemic concentrations.
Mesotherapy appears to have three main mechanisms of action: the reflex-based endorphin production caused by introducing needle, the mechanical distension of surrounding tissues and sensitive fibers caused by the injected liquid, and the local effect of the active substances.
Depending on the indication, several types of drugs, NSAIDs, muscle relaxants and vasorelaxants, can be used, either alone or in combination with an anesthetic.
When we have contraindications for medical treatment, by injecting only physiological saline solution we will achieve a positive effect.
Treatment consists of five applications during five weeks, one mesotherapy per week.
